Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule
The official list below shows time periods that are reserved, not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your instructor if the final exam for the course will be conducted during this time.
Before registering, make sure to review the Goethe exam guidelines and the terms and conditions on each exam page. Also, be sure to make sure you register at the correct exam level.
Locations
The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please refer to the exam pages for more information on exam content, exam terms and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you need special accommodations because of chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment, or any other disability make contact with the exam provider and provide the documents when you register.
Faculty can view their exam times through the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. In addition the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for courses that have exams required by NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class times of the final exams.
Please take note that the Projected University Examination Schedule is intended as a rough guideline and that exam dates are subject to change.
Registration

Students are encouraged to consult the exam schedule online. It is important to remember that the schedule for exams may change at any moment. Students should therefore check with their instructors for the exact time and date of their exam. Students should be sure to print the official list and bring it with them to their exam.
Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam in addition to the schedule. They are available on the individual exam pages. Students acknowledge they have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of registration.
Exam locations make every effort to accommodate students with special requirements. The nature and extent of these requirements should be declared on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. The exam locations must also adhere to confidentiality.
If a student has three exams scheduled on the same day, it is suggested to contact their instructor or department to arrange an alternate exam. It is possible to take three examinations on the same day. However, this could cause a lot of stress and impact the quality. Additionally, the instructor might not be able offer a makeup exam on a different day.
Students must review the course material prior to taking the exam and must practice their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that measures your ability to read, speak, and write German. The test results are given using a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded an Goethe-Zertifikat. szkoła motocyklowa of the language level A1. This level corresponds to the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence that is set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free of charge. Students must bring a valid government issued ID to the test. Students who do not have a valid picture ID will be disqualified.
Fees
If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to be awarded an Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the course fees.
Practice assessments give you an overview of the style and wording, as well as the difficulty of the questions on the exam. They can help you evaluate your understanding, find gaps and increase your chances of acing the exam.
Please be aware that the fee for exams is non-refundable. Exam results can only by electronically sent, not via phone.
